NOW AVAILABLE!
new service to chat online
Surely you have thousands of doubts, a lot of topics that you would like to talk about and comment on. Aspects that you would like to improve or change in the life of your parrots and your coexistence with them.
This is not professional advice , just a person who talks about issues that he has experienced firsthand (both with his parrots and as a volunteer at rescue centers):
Fortunately or unfortunately, in all this time I have gone through several moments of forced learning, complicated situations caused by the complexity of keeping parrots in captivity. I will also say that it has been 10 years of sharing life with wonderful beings, where I have learned and grown with them. Responsible ownership of these animals is not easy, books or theories do not teach you that.
It teaches you to live, share and learn with them.
Do you dare to share a little while talking with me?
Video call available for 30 AND 60 MINUTES
30 or 60 minute session
If you have just one quick question, or we need to follow up on a case, the 30-minute session is for you. If you want to have a conversation where you can ask everything you want, opt for 60 minutes (and it will be short hehe)
live video call
With a close treatment, in trust. As if you were having something with a friend. Like a chat. Talk to me about everything that crosses your mind, you have doubts and you can't find an answer.
We discuss the topics you want
Below this page you can find in detail the topics that we can talk about , but in general terms: behavior, conduct, relationship between specimens, human-parrot relationship, improvement of its space.
I'll tell you more about the chats in more detail.
Frequently asked questions
HOW DO I BOOK MY SESSION?
Sara's schedules are very variable, which is why thanks to the calendar that appears when you click CHOOSE SCHEDULE you will be able to see all the available hours, morning and afternoon.
If any time doesn't fit you, send us a message on Instagram and we'll try to find a space when it suits you.
You have to book your session as if you were making a normal order, that is, with payment in advance. We will send you the order confirmation to your email, and later a few days before your session we will send you the link to make the video call.
If you have a very specific question that we can address for half an hour, or you have to follow up on a topic that we have covered in a previous session or we have to follow up to see how we are progressing on x topic, the 30 minute session is for you.
If you want to talk about several topics, or discuss a complex topic, I recommend the 60-minute session.
We will do it by video call, we will be able to see and hear each other and feel close. We will do it through Google Meet, and we will first send you by email the link to connect from your phone or computer.
What topics can we talk about?
We can analyze how your little ones live now and see what aspects we can improve. To make a chat you don't have to have a problem, the trick is to avoid it in advance.
Either among their companions (of the same or different species) or towards the humans with whom they share space.
If you have decided to provide company for your parrot (first of all I am very happy about it) but you have to take into account many things to ensure that it has a happy ending.
Or maybe you have already done it and things have gone wrong and you need help.
Does it seem that your parrots are in constant heat and you are not able to solve this situation? There is a solution, but it is a VERY complex issue. I open the way for you and help you solve it.
Training basic commands for everyday life can be very rewarding, both for them and for us. Get in and out of the cage, stay still in one place so you can do your things. Let them come to you when you say so, understand that making their life is better than being on top of you. All this is taught, and it is not difficult to achieve it, whether with savages or papilleros.
One of the topics that touches me VERY closely. I have lived and suffered the sting, I have seen how they yelled at me for desperately wanting to come to me. Having wild animals in captivity is not easy, and all these negative behaviors originate from keeping them in captivity.
Do you want to ask me things so you can do your space design yourself? Whether it is the distribution of elements, advice on types of products according to the taste of your little ones, construction of overhangs, protection against cold and winter of exterior overhangs.
Do you want to use sand? Put plants in your parrots' space? Use branches and ropes? I help you choose and prepare it, and I advise you on how to maintain it.
Food is a fundamental pillar in the life of our parrots. And not only this, but perhaps more important is how we present this food (food fortification).
Feed, mix, complete salads. Do you have doubts about what to give him? What quantities?
The best thing you can do for them is to eliminate cages from their lives and give them a group life. You just have to dare. And I help you with my own example.
remember that
I am not a veterinarian or anything similar, nor do I have a degree in anything related to ethology and animal behavior. I will only answer questions that I have mastered the topic and have experienced firsthand as an individual who has been in this world for 10 years (and who, luckily or unfortunately, has had many things happen to them). I will never make up an answer to something I don't know, and if I don't know, I will tell you honestly.
These sessions will never solve veterinary issues or health emergencies for your animals, I will NEVER get involved in these issues and I will refer you to a professional.
